Hourigans of Central NY

I put together this website primarily to record our family history. I was fortunate enough to be able to interview and discuss our family history with my grandfather's generation before they passed away. I hope you find this site useful. Yes, it does need some "pizzazz"! I am working on it.

 

The information contained in this document was taken from various sources:

• Information on John and Jane's arrival in Mandana: from Marion Horrigan, 1/25/1992. Her father was Francis Joseph, son of John and Jane.
  
• Dates of birth, marriage, and death--from a family Bible that belonged to either Mary (Hourigan) Collins, daughter of John and Jane Hourigan, or Jane (Hourigan) Major, daughter of William Hourigan.
  
• Dates have been corrected and/or confirmed by Rita (Hourigan) Dauenhauer using church records from St. Francis Xavier in Marcellus, NY, and St. Patrick's church in Otisco, NY.
